What we keep

Your NorthPoint account holds what signing in needs, and no more. Each app keeps its own records about you, such as your orders or bookings, and says so on its own pages.

In your account

  • Your name and email.
  • Your password, scrambled so that nobody, us included, can read it back.
  • For each passkey, its public half and the name you gave it. Your face or fingerprint never leaves your phone; we never see it.
  • Your date of birth, from when you made the account. We ask so that nobody under 13 makes one.
  • Which NorthPoint apps you’ve signed in to, and when.
  • A record of sign-ins and changes to the account, with the internet address they came from, for a year. You can see it under Recent activity.

What each app is told

  • NorthPoint Cafe: your name and email.
  • NorthPoint Courts: your name, email and date of birth, because a waiver for anybody under 18 is signed by a parent.

An app is told these when you sign in to it, and not before.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell or share it outside NorthPoint.
  • We only email you about your account: codes, links, and notes when something about how you sign in changes. Never news or offers.

Closing your account

Email contact@northpointdsm.com from the address on the account, and we’ll close it. Our backups are kept about three months, so it’s gone from them within that time too. Each app’s own records are kept or removed under that app’s rules.
